A little piece of Kildinan has made its way all over the world, as ceramic artist Siobhain Steele saw her beautiful bottles get distributed to places scattered across the globe as an Irish company celebrated their 50 year anniversary.
The story behind Siobhain's business featured on last week's Business Bytes page and she told The Avondhu that her wonderful ceramic bottles which have messages on them, were bought by EIL Intercultural Learning who this year celebrate 50 years in business, and they were given to international delegates.
On their Facebook page, EIL Intercultural Learning said: "A little piece of Cork...Take a look at the beautiful gifts we gave our international delegates during the Federation EIL General Assembly in Cork. These ceramic bottles, with a very special message, were crafted by fantastic Cork artist, Siobhain Steele Ceramics."
The company provide intercultural learning experiences which includes a volunteer abroad programme and for the special 50 year gift, Siobhain put beautiful and inspirational sayings on her creations.
